Opportunity 1
Duas
The most powerful support that all of you could provide is to remember GVE in your duas. Without the permission of Allah, nothing is possible but with the permission of Allah even the impossible becomes possible.

Raise awareness
Did you know that Millions of children in Pakistan never get to attend a school? Create a better awareness amongst your relatives and friends so that they get to know the plight of these deprived children and their families. Ask Allah to give us the tawfique to DO SOMETHING TO HELP THEM.

Learning through play
The concept of learning through play is alien to many families. Providing purpose made educational toys makes a huge impact on children of all ages and their teachers too. Swings, rides and creating a colourful and safe learning environment is part of this aspect of physical education.
Opportunity 5
IT and use of technology
Providing selected and the most appropriate tools, including laptops and computers is one of our ambitions. Our children have access to some tech equipment that we bought in 2014/2015 – like a TV and desktop computer for the Principal and for the staff and a broadband connection. A set of ten desktop computers were donated in 2016. There is a need to upgrade this hardware and there will always be a need to keep up with the teaching, learning and admin software.

Teaching and learning materials
We have so far transported more than 20 tons of books and learning materials to Pakistan. Get your family and friends to donate whatever they can so that we can continue to replenish essential tools for learning. Volunteers helped to select and collect good learning materials and then arrange for them to be transported to where there is a need.

Hands on volunteers
The next time you make an effort to visit Pakistan please come and see the GVS schools in Chakwal. Your presence will have an impact. You will make a difference. Just speaking to the children and their teachers in English makes such a profound difference. You don’t need to be a teacher. Your personal support will make a great deal of difference.

All of us are granted many gifts by Allah and we are all very grateful to Him. Whatever Allah has gifted you, please share it so that Allah can give you even more. Allah uses all of us to help others in ways that we often take for granted. Nothing is too small. Organise a cake and coffee party to raise funds. Arrange a get together to discuss ways of helping others.
